December 09 A book on Heidelberg and its universityRecently I read a book regarding to Heidelberg and its university, which was written by a Hong Kong scholar, who was also the president of the Chinese University of Hong Kong 20 years ago. Actually it is not only described the Heidelberg and its university but also about the history, culture, social science of Germany, also introduced a lots of small but famous towns which is full of both nice scenery and culture. Of course, among these include the Cologne, Bonn and The River Rhine. The interesting for me to read this book is because I’m not only like the beautiful scenery of Germany, but also like the architecture, culture, humanities and history. Even if the book was written before the fall of the Berlin Wall a few years ago and most focus on West Germany, but it is still quite a reference. Politics divided but common culture root still kept, that’s why Germany fallen two times during the 20th century, but it still survive from the ruins and resurrecting. November 06 Never give up!It’s a very long time for me not to come here and write in English because of the busy work and business trip outside Wuxi, now it’s seems back to normal again.
For me the Chinese writing is much easier and accurate to express my feeling, I hope my English also can reach to the same level as native language, but it will have a long way to go.
I also like English movies but do not understand all without some English caption even I can communicate with foreigners in daily life without any problems.
It really need time, patience and persistence to finish something like English learning and so on. Maybe lots of thing in life also like English learning, so we need stick to it and never give it up! September 28 Just thinkingRecently I made a number of translations for product brochures, it is dulling, and anyway it’s over now. In the coming of Golden week for the National Day holidays, I really do not know how to face it. It will start from tomorrow; I use the gap in the afternoon to think about it for the holiday plan slowly. There already have the arrangement for the last day of holiday, in the morning to see a German friend, take a break in the afternoon, and in the evening go to Beijing by train for the preparations of the exhibition. Still with 6 days left, one day need to see grandmother who is in bed now; there are half a day to go mountain climbing ... ... a little too lazy to continue planning now, because I will stay in Wuxi whole holidays, so no need to prepare too much.

Seems to be in the tourist bus, in a trance seems to be in the boat also and saw a lot of the old houses with the combination of Chinese and Western style, found a bridge on the river similar to the Bridge of Sighs with covers in Venice, but not looks like completely, because the bridge is flat but not arch, more houses looks like old style of Jiangnan and western style villa, I felt very shocked, a very memorable place.

September 10 Today's feelingI caught a cold 5 days ago and felt bad some days, but I unwilling to take medicine, only drink water and take rest for natural recover, yesterday the cough seems serious, but today it turns better. I didn’t catch a serious cold for a long time, so this time feel a little tired, but I always told somebody else that occasional small disease could be cancer-proof. Hehe! Just comfort myself!
Actually, I feel much better today now, I still have desire to write my blog in Chinese, still hope some miracles of life appears, still expected my dream come to true earlier …… September 05 On weekendA busy working is finished, I feel a little relaxed now because tomorrow is Saturday, the weekend always be peaceful and quiet for me. Actually I caught a little cold yesterday, but not so serious, so I hope I could have a good rest tonight and recover soon. Time flys, the moon festival is coming soon, in this medium autumn, I still remembered the activate which we 8 people was enjoying the full moon and rowing boats in the Hill-reflection lake 10 years ago, it's a little poetic, romantic and unforgettable...... At that time, we hold some saloons for English language or literatures, it attacts lots of people who have the common interests, but one year later, it becomes dissppear because of some of them going abroad, getting married and in pursuit of dreams etc. I will always remember these activates which once encourged me to strive for the better life, it was, it is and it will be forever! August 31 It will be my English blog here!We are living in the world for a better life, of course also for fun! When I take a walking in the park or garden, I’m always attracted with cute flowers, it is because its colorfulness and the happy moods brought to me. I like the saying “If you feel something bad in your life, just go to the nature, here, anything with life will cheer you up and let you feel the meaning of life”; Every weekend, if possible, I like to go to the hill high, breath the fresh air, enjoy the bird-eyes view of the below, listen birds’ singing, smell the fragrance of flower and grass etc. then I feel very peaceful and quiet inside. August 30 秋雨之感秋雨断断续续连着下了两天，尽管白天的时候感觉有黄梅般的闷热，夜晚却是丝丝的凉意。想到了红楼梦里的几句诗“池塘一夜秋风冷，吹散芰荷红玉影。......”，尽管是一种淡淡的忧愁，且也有楚楚动人的美感！就像读朱自清的荷塘月色一样，淡淡的，但挥之不去！意境有时就靠这三言两语营造了起来，顿时给人有了一种心灵上的触动。当然这种触动也可以由一首歌或者一幅画而引起。 August 23 自然的气息今天正好是处暑的节气，天气终于有些凉爽了，早晨去登惠山头茅峰，呼吸山里的空气感觉非常舒服和清新，下山的时候特意在半山坐下来好好地闻闻这种带有树叶和草木清香的味，真的是非常沁人心脾！看到山中有好多盛开了的紫薇，红的小花一簇簇绽放着，迎风招展，感觉格外醒目也很舒心！其实我真正喜欢的就是这种自然的氛围和气息！相信人经常在这样放松的环境中一定会有一个健康的身体，更会有一个健康的心灵。 August 17 什么样的味道比巧克力好上午看了电影频道的《查理和巧克力工厂》，因为我倒是的的确确在世界大牌的巧克力公司Cadbury工作过3年多，也实地参观过总部北京的巧克力生产车间，更是很喜欢吃高质量好口味的巧克力，所以也想看看电影中的巧克力工厂与现实中的区别，看完以后才感到电影中的工厂其实只是一种童话的梦想，最多也是现代化，卡通化和主题化的游乐园，与真正的巧克力工厂完全是两码事。影片的深刻含义是说糖果和巧克力再如何甜美也无法比上一个和睦幸福的家庭，哪怕这个家庭不是富足的，不是高贵的，不是被人关注的；主人公那个叫查理的小男孩就生活在这样一个贫穷和普通但却充满了关爱的家庭，他拥有的幸福和快乐是即使用整座梦幻般的巧克力工厂也不换的！也就是说用金钱也买不到的！与他一起抽到金奖券的其他4位小朋友个个比他的家富有，可是都不及他快乐；在现实的世界里，贫穷有可能是不快乐的重要根源之一，不过这个世界毕竟还有机遇，梦想，奇迹在不断的发生，影片最后的小查理既拥有了巧克力工厂又拥有了温暖的家庭也许就是给广大平凡的人一种启示，也许更是一种希望！ |
